"I'M WINNING"

Nick taught the kids Settlers of Catan last night. They had tons of fun and wanted to play again, but it was bedtime. Dayton woke up early this morning and said he was going to play against himself. I told him that would be fine, but to be as quiet as he could be because I needed to do homework. I didn't hear a peep until Nick came down and asked Dayton if he was playing against himself. Dayton then replied "Yes, and I'm winning". He was totally serious too. He was also trading resources with himself so he would win. The last thing he said was "I'm mostly white"( because white was winning). Kids are hilarious!

Dodge ball was a favorite for the kids!

The foam pit was fun to jump into, but hard to get out of when your old.

There is an authentic 1950's and 1980's farm that is fully running. It has original houses, barns,a school house and several other buildings. They have a fall festival every year, it was tons of fun! They had old time kids games and tons of other activities. It was a great way to start Saturday off.

2012 SUCCESS

LARRY KING

MICHAEL J. FOX

THE STAGE IS RIGHT UNDER THE JUMBO TRON, WE HAD GREAT SEATS.

MADISON'S GOOD FRIEND SAVANNAH WENT

SUSAN ORMAN

JOHN WALSH

BILL COSBY

We had the opportunity to attend the 2012 success seminar in Denver. It was so amazing to hear the personal stories of these amazing people and many others too. Very inspirational and I am so glad that Madison and her friend wanted to go. This was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. Savannah said she knew what she wanted to study in college after going(economics). Madison said that she wished she was alive in the 80's so she could marry Michael J. Fox. She was very touched by his story and amazing attitude after all he has been through and will face ahead. John Walsh told the story of his son and the details of how he came to do what he does today. So awesome!!!!!

DELANIE'S BEST DAY

FIRST TIME BEING GOALIE

TEA PARTY FOR ACHIEVEMENT DAYS ACTIVITY

LITTLE PIGGY IN HER 3RD GRADE PROGRAM
Delanie said it was her best day with a gigantic smile. She went from goalie(which she loves), to all done up for a tea party. She literally got home from hockey and had to rush to get all pretty for her Achievement Day's activity. It was fun to see the difference, and to see the huge smile she had for both. She was also recently the little pig for her school program. She still loves animals.......

DAYTON'S STORY

A REALLY ROTTEN DAY

I HOPE I NEVER HAVE ANOTHER DAY AS BAD AS THIS ONE. IT STARTED WITH MY DOG. HE JUMPED ON MY BED AND WOKE ME UP WITH A THOUSAND LICKS. AFTER I WOKE UP I WAS EATING SOME LEFT OVER PANCAKES FOR BREAKFAST. MY DOG JUMPED AND PUSHED ME TO THE GROUND. BAM!!! I WAS ON THE GROUND AND MY DOG WAS EATING MY PANCAKES. THEY WERE MY FAVORITE BANANA PANCAKES. THEN I HAD TO WALK THE DOG AND HE POOPED ON THE SIDE WALK. I TRIPPED OVER A ROCK AND LANDED IN THE FRESH DOG POOP. I'LL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER DAY AS BAD AS THIS ONE.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS SOOOO CUTE, IT REMINDED ME OF KENZIE AND HOW GREAT SHE IS AT WRITING SHORT STORIES AND POEMS. SHE STARTED DOING THIS AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. ONE OF HER POEMS WAS SENT BY HER TEACHER TO A BOOK TO BE PUBLISHED.

CAMPING

Before(morning)

After(afternoon)

Beautiful hike...........

Boos first camp trip........

Looking for gold flakes......

We found the best spot only an hour away from our house. This place was so gorgeous and peaceful. There was an eagles nest with babies in it only a small hike away. We were a little cold at night but had fun hiking, playing games and splashing in the river. The kids had tons of fun playing jump rope with their glow necklaces then made a night light in the tent out of them. They were giggling so loud it was hilarious. Our friends came up with their kids and spent the day on Saturday. They made fishing poles and got soaked, thank heavens for warm fires. Boo was a little nervous the first night but loved the hike. We found a great spot to spend our weekends next summer.

HOCKEY

Lanie started hockey this month. Nick said she is a natural and that she will be better than most of the players in a few years(he played for his high school team) She loves it, we have so much fun watching her. She is number 8 in the green.

SEE YOU SOON! STAY WARM......

Our dear friends we met here in Colorado are moving to Alaska. We have enjoyed many awesome Sunday dinners and game nights with them.We hosted a going away party at our house. It was tons of fun to have all our friends here helping us send them off. We are so excited to go visit Alaska now! They just started their big drive today. We are so glad that they are a part of our life. They just had a new addition to the family little Rachel(me and Maddie fight over whose turn it is to hold her). I love that no matter where you go, no matter what you do there are amazing people everywhere to meet. We love you Sardakowkis, see you soon!
